Promotional Offer Rules & Framework

1. General Promotional Terms Framework

From time to time, PGC Namkeen runs promotional offers across its online storefront (pgcnamkeen.com), Meta/Instagram advertisements, and WhatsApp campaigns. Unless specific campaign terms state otherwise, the following general rules apply to all promotions:

• Promotions, discount coupons, and gift offers are valid only during the stated offer period or while promotional stocks last.
• Coupon codes must be entered prior to order finalization at checkout and cannot be applied retroactively to completed orders.
• Offers cannot be combined with other discount codes, wholesale tier discounts, or special dealer pricing unless explicitly stated.
• PGC Namkeen reserves the right to modify or withdraw any promotion at any time prior to order placement in the event of technical errors or stock exhaustion.

2. Distinction Between Guaranteed Items & Draw-Based Prizes

To prevent any consumer misrepresentation or deception:

• Guaranteed Product Contents: Every purchase of a promotional product (such as a Combo Box or Gift Pack) guarantees delivery of the specific food items, weight, and guaranteed gifts explicitly listed under the product description.
• Conditional / Draw-Based Prizes: Any high-value prizes, scratch-card sweepstakes, or bumper promotional draws (where applicable) are conditional and draw-based. Purchasing a product NEVER guarantees winning a draw-based prize.

3. Participant Eligibility & State Jurisdiction Restrictions

Unless prohibited by law, promotional offers are open to individual residents of India who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

State Exclusions Notice: Promotional lotteries, contests, or prize draws involving elements of chance are strictly void and unavailable in the State of Tamil Nadu (under the Tamil Nadu Prize Schemes (Prohibition) Act, 1979) and any other State or Union Territory where prize schemes or lotteries are restricted or banned by statutory law.

5. Taxes & Statutory Deductions (TDS)

In accordance with Section 194B of the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961:

Any contest, lottery, or promotional prize winnings exceeding ₹10,000 in value are subject to mandatory Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) at the applicable statutory rate (currently 30% plus applicable surcharge and cess). The winner is solely responsible for paying or depositing applicable TDS before prize release, as well as handling any vehicle registration, road tax, insurance, or municipal levies.

6. Anti-Fraud, Abuse & Disqualification

PGC Namkeen maintains strict anti-fraud monitoring. We reserve the right to disqualify any participant or reject prize claims if there is evidence of:

• Tampering with scratch cards, counterfeiting, or generating unauthorized digital codes.
• Fraudulent order cancellations or chargebacks after registering scratch cards.
• Use of automated scripts, bots, or fake phone numbers/accounts.
